Refund & Return Policy
Effective Date: July 13, 2026
At MyMahjongStudio, all sales are final. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect sizing/style preference, or any reason other than the exceptions listed below.
All Sales Final
All items sold by MyMahjongStudio are non-refundable and non-returnable once your order has been placed and shipped, except as described under "Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items" below. We encourage you to review product descriptions, photos, and variant options (color, style) closely before ordering.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If your mahjong set arrives damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery at mymahjongstudio@gmail.com with photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or refund at no extra cost to you. This is the only circumstance under which a refund or replacement will be issued.
Cancellations
Once an order has been placed, it cannot be canceled or modified. Please review your cart carefully before completing checkout.
EU Customers: Statutory Right of Withdrawal (Mandatory)
The "All Sales Final" and "Cancellations" sections above apply to customers outside the European Union. If you are a consumer located in the EU, you benefit from a mandatory statutory right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, which cannot be waived and overrides our general policy above.
Specifically, EU consumers have the right to:
- Cancel or withdraw from their order within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason
- Notify us of this decision by emailing mymahjongstudio@gmail.com with the order number and a clear statement of withdrawal, before the 14-day period expires
- Return the goods to us within 14 days of notifying us of the withdrawal, in their original condition where reasonably possible
- Receive a full reimbursement of all payments received, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods (or proof of shipment, whichever is earlier)
- The direct cost of returning the goods is borne by the customer, unless stated otherwise
This right does not apply to goods that are custom-made or clearly personalized to the customer's specifications, where permitted by law.
Chargebacks
If you have a concern about your order, please contact us directly first — we're happy to help resolve it. Filing a payment dispute (chargeback) for a reason already covered by this policy may delay resolution.
