Why We Started
I've been playing Mahjong for about ten years now. A close friend of mine was completely devoted to the game, and it didn't take long before she pulled me into a session — I was hooked almost immediately. What stayed with me wasn't just the strategy, it was the tiles themselves: the color, the detail in the design, and that satisfying clatter when they hit the table. That sound is basically the soundtrack of a good game night. MyMahjongSet started because I wanted more players to have tiles that deliver on both fronts — beautiful to look at, and just as satisfying to play with.
What We Focus On
Right now, we specialize in two things: premium acrylic Mahjong tiles and mats designed for American-style play. We'd rather do a few things exceptionally well than spread ourselves thin — so every design we release is chosen for its color, craftsmanship, and how it plays at the table, not just how it looks in a photo.
